A clear message.
A considered response.

Mark Albert is the founder and CEO of Media Advisory Experts (MAX), a Washington, DC-based strategic communications advisory firm serving clients in the U.S. and around the globe. He and his team guide leaders from the C-suite to founders, helping them amplify their stories and prepare for public scrutiny.

His work brings together strategic communications, crisis and risk communications, earned media, storytelling, media training and video production. The focus is not on replacing a leader’s voice, but on making that voice clear, credible and ready for the moment.

Journalism background

Twenty-five years asking the questions.

A master storyteller and winner of a Peabody and 12 EMMYs, Mark built a 25-year journalism career distinguished by investigative and political reporting, innovative storytelling techniques and creative communications.

He traveled the world for CBS News and reported from the White House, Capitol Hill and the U.S. Supreme Court. He created and led a national investigative unit for Hearst Communications and taught journalists in newsrooms in the United States, Vietnam and Pakistan.

His interviews have included philanthropist and technology pioneer Bill Gates, government and political leaders at history-making moments, and visionary creators. He also created a media database to support earned-media appearances.
